10 HANOVER STREET, MAYFAIR, DESIGNED BY SQUIRE AND PARTNERS

I was recently commissioned to photograph a mixed-use development in the heart of Mayfair, designed by architect Squire and Partners.

The project includes a very slender block of apartments, each featuring very slick storey-height shutters. Fabricated from perforated bronze and finished with red and gold, the shutters evoke Japanese traditional architecture. The chevron pattern of the perforations also echo the intricate stitching patterns of tailors on nearby Savile Row.

You can read more about the project here.

The scheme has received widespread press coverage including this article in the Huffington Post.

Incidentally, the building is opposite another Squire's project: Hanover Square. This happily meant we were able to gain access to achieve some high level shots of 10 Hanover Street.
